Maksym Kishka is a Ukrainian photographer specializing in photojournalism and documentary photography.
He began his professional career in his youth, focusing on everyday life and socially significant topics. Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, his work has focused on documenting the war and its consequences, including frontline areas, sites of shelling, liberated territories, and the lives of civilians and military personnel in regions affected by the conflict.
In 2023, he worked as a fixer for foreign photojournalists, providing logistical, editorial, and field support to international media teams covering events in Ukraine. This marked his first professional experience collaborating with international media.
Since 2024, he has been collaborating with the international news agency Reuters as a contract photographer.
Since 2025, he has been working as a photojournalist and assistant photo editor at the media outlet Frontliner.
